Locally in your browser via Chrome's storage API (chrome.storage.sync), which may sync across your devices through your Google account. This data is never sent to the developer or any external server.
The stored nicknames and links are used only to display your personal friends list and open the corresponding IMDb profile when you click on a nickname.
Data persists as long as the extension remains installed and Chrome sync is enabled. Uninstalling the extension may remove this data; there is no guarantee of long-term data retention.

The extension includes an optional "Buy me a coffee" button that opens an external donation page (buymeacoffee.com) in a new tab. This link does not transmit any of your stored data — it simply navigates to that site.
